Hackett House

The house on Ebelden was built in the early 1970s. The front is landscaped with rocks, cactus, and a split rail fence and has a rustic feel. A very large tree shades the entire front lawn. There is a rod iron gate before reaching the front door. The house is in its original state. The wallpaper in the kitchen and in a "dining room" are still as they were. The kitchen cabinets, linoleum, brick treatment and paneling on the walls all 1970s. The kitchen is not difficult to shoot because of a large glass window, almost floor to ceiling near the front door. In the backyard is a brick patio, surrounded by grape vines in the summer. There is a barrel water tub feature. And many rustic antiques, like lanterns, beer jars, wash boards and a coal mining pan. The cottage in the backyard is more modern built in 2004 in the craftsman style. In the yard are fruit trees. A large koi pond and waterfall with six koi sit in a private garden surrounded by lush trees.
